UNIP, colégio Objetivo and curso Objetivo form one of the largest education group of Brazil, with more than 130 thousand students that were registered in its graduation courses, 27 Campus and more than 700 schools associated to the high school.

In order to attend the demand of educational material, the group has a printing industry with more than 500 employees, having available technology for the prints production with quality, including prepress systems, plan and rotary printings press and all finishing equipment variety.

As part of a improve process in the management of all companies of the group, it was decided to implement a new management system for the printing industry. After evaluating the available options, they have chosen METRICS system.

The whole project has used Metrics implementation methodology (MPM), based on PMI principles. The agreed schedules were attended and the project was done exactly on the foreseen estimate.

The beginning of system operation in production was in March/2008 and includes the following areas: Costs and Prices Formation, Estimating, Manufacturing Planning, Production Control, Material Management and Purchase, Post-Calculation (changes analyses Foreseen X Real), as well as the available managerial information.
