A Metrics Sistemas de Informação, líder em tecnologias para a gestão de processos para a indústria gráfica, participou da Expográfica, uma das maiores feiras do setor na América Latina. O evento aconteceu no período de 31 de março a 04 de abril, na cidade de Guadalajara e superou as expectativas de visitação.

A Metrics Sistemas de Informação, líder no desenvolvimento de tecnologia de gestão para o setor gráfico e de embalagens, participou do “Open House”, encontro empresarial do setor, que aconteceu nos dias 09 e 10 de março próximo na Print Media Acadamy (PMA) que, funciona na unidade do Senai Theobaldo de Nigris.

In printing segment, the Brazilian market is more mature in this aspect what generates interest by Mexicans in know and to buy technology inputs developed in Brazil for the sector.

The evidence is of Osmar Barbosa Brazilian executive, Metrics Information Systems director that in the end of this February was the international guest in a technical meeting promoted in the country by Union de Industriales Litógrafos do Mexico, entity that congregate the Mexican companies of print sector.

“Most of the approximately 40 printing industry represented in the meeting shows interest to know management solutions uses in Brazil and some already request us a visit scheduling to local plants to know the control practices and industry local automation”, marks the executive.

During the Union de Industriales Litógrafos meeting, Osmar Barbosa approach about the need of production process automatized control and printing industry administration like competitiveness strategic condition in a sector where final product quality is not the only survival condition.

“Around 100 entrepreneurs, technicians and executives presents showed special interest to know the Brazilian experience to obtain details about process management technology used in Brazil, that includes all areas related to business strategy”, comments Osmar Barbosa.

With a branch in Mexico since 2007, Metrics is expanding the basis installed of the management platform with the printing industries in country, and already has some of the larger local companies in the client’s portfolio. Including, are some names like Quebecor, one of the great multinationals of the segment installed in Mexican territory and the worldwide giant RR Donnelley, the Peruvian Metrocolor and the Mexican Foli, one of the local leader in advertising printing products segment.

Osmar Barbosa focused to the reduction cost question on basis in technology differential, was specially planning to follow up the general subject of the meeting, whose title was “2009 Perspectives - Economy and Management Technology.”

Beside of the Brazilian executive presence, the event had a speech “Financial Crisis Impact Analysis”, who was in charge of Mexican economist Gabriel Péres del Peral, Universidade Panamericana Economy School Director and of the Post-Graduation in Economy of Instituto Tecnológico do México (ITAM).

Based in Brazilian industry experience and in global printing industry advances, Osmar Barbosa traced an overview about the industrials process automation trends in this industry sector, with special attention on the new technology standard JDF (Job Definition Format).
