Complete and reliable information, more productivity.
The Production Order is the product request for production. Contains all the information of product specifications and production instructions for the Operator when receive the document know exactly what should be done.
The Metrics Printware Software creates production orders electronically, that exists within the system and can be created from the moment the sale is approved or through a sales order (by Metrics system). The production order can be viewed on the system screen or printed.
The Production Order contains a description of the product to be produced, that date should be delivered and the quantities required. A production order can contain different products and quantities.

Integration and Automation
The system uses information from the Metrics Product Engineering (ENG Metrics module) for the calculation of hours and raw materials. Being a fully integrated system, the information calculated are automatically integrated to the other system modules sending information to the responsible departments.
After calculating the type and amount of necessary raw material to produce a particular product, this data is sent electronically to the purchase sector, and this area has to provide the material buy.
The activities to be performed on the Production Order are sent to the Planning area, which uses the expected time information provided to perform the programming of machines.
Costs can also be controlled by the Metrics Post Calculation module that gathers all the appointment information and raw material consumption.
The Production Order has a production workflow, of credit validation, which ensures that the product will be produced only when it has actually release in commercial aspects.
In abstract, the Production Order brings together all the information to ensure that the product will be produced within the agreed specifications and delivered to the customer on the correct date.

After analyzing each Ibratec productive and nonproductive sector, Metrics presented an automation proposal which integrated all the controls of industrial and administrative processes. This proposal has been carefully detailed with production flow maps and of management and accepted by Ibratec after selective analysis of each detail.
“As a starting point of the automation process, we chose the process of Production Orders. Then came the other controls, which are now in full use, such as billing, financial management, stock, management module, and production appointments”
