Metrics Information Systems, a leader in management technology with a focus on printing and packaging industry, is supporting SENAI Theobaldo de Nigris School on a project of technical skills of Senai students for domain of the last field of software tools and integrated management concepts and automated processes in this segment. Senai Theobaldo de Nigris is recognized as the main training center for technicians and managers for the printing industry the country, matching up the best in the world in this sector.
By the cooperation agreement, Senai students begin to have access to integrated management system of Metrics in several training courses, ranging from courses for preparing technical production - equivalent to high school - until the Printing Production Technology College Graduation and Post-Graduation system for technicians in the area that this is the only in this category in Brazil.
Metrics integrated management platform covers all elements of the production process and business management in the printing industry, including several modules of commercial management, production management and administrative management. Through Metrics system, the printing company can describe, visualize and automate all their processes, reaching the highest levels of maturity and productivity, as provided by the management technology.
In first agreement phase, Metrics installed in Senai the Estimate Metrics System Module, which is already being used by students. By using the system, students of all levels of learning become habituated with a budget model that takes into account all the variables of business and production involved in the pricing of printing packages. "In addition to providing a real familiarity with the new software technologies developed for this industry, the use of our estimate module takes the student to better understand the productive processes and impacts on costs and prices, in addition to acquiring a comprehensive view of the sales and production areas", says Metrics director, Osmar Barbosa.
In the second phase of this project, Metrics will expand its cooperation with Senai leading to Theobaldo de Nigris Scholl all other modules of the platform, helping to improve the workforce with regard to knowledge about management of the printing segment.
