Metrics Information Systems presented in ExpoPrint Latin America a suite of solutions specifically designed to enable the introduction of computerized systems for management of industrial processes and business in the printing industry and packaging of small and medium businesses.
Called Metrics Printware Start, the new solution contains all the essential components of the management platform Metrics Printware, now widely used by major industries and printing converters in the country and Latin America, but with a dimension of cost and number of users defined tailored to companies with fewer employees or who are starting their automation process.

To facilitate the acquisition by the SME, Metrics has created a model of software licensing and implementation services to optimized cost to adjust these companies investment capacity.
According to the Metrics director, Osmar Barbosa, out of about 18,000 printing companies and packaging of the country, only a small portion has incorporated software tools for the optimization of business processes. "Our 12 years of coexistence with the companies in the sector shows that there is great interest in these companies in maximize productivity through technology, but the initial cost of the solution ends up being a barrier," says the executive.
With the new supply model, represented by Printware Start, Metrics hopes to remove this barrier and significantly expand its installed base in the country.
To encourage the use in this SMEs universe, the Metrics Printware Start be offered on a configuration of up to 10 users, with a rapid implementation methodology and underinvestment. "We are confident that this model meets the most significant needs, both between the printing companies and in the packaging industry," says the executive.
Besides the license lower cost, Metrics has developed a funding model, up to 12 monthly parcels, which also covers implementation services, user training and technical support.
"With our solution for SMEs, Metrics intensifies the strategy expressed in our concept Printware, which is to make use of technology look more natural within the business sector," concludes the director of Metrics.
