EXPOPRINT 2010: Metrics launches CRM specific to the Printing Industry

 

Metrics Information Systems, leader in integrated technologies for the printing industry, will release in ExpoPrint 2010 the first management solution for business contacts and customer loyalty (CRM) specially designed to meet the industry particularities.


With 12 years experience in management, Metrics already offered all the necessary software components for the automation processes, from sales and PCP (Production Planning Control) to administrative activities. With the release of Metrics CRM, the company helps deepen the integrated business vision and can offer process intelligence for activities non-uniform and difficult to control, like monitoring of contacts, evaluation of satisfaction or stress levels - and mapping opportunities for new customer sales from historical data.
"All actions of the company's relationship with the client are now documented and evaluated in an intelligent way, through our CRM screen, a fully web-based operation," says the director of Metrics, Osmar Barbosa.
According to the executive, well as embedding the cross-checking rules aimed at the contact efficiency and the use of historical data for planning new customer approaches, Metrics CRM makes more efficient the collaborative work. "The solution screens brings an intuitive interface that creates a unified dashboard of information to improve the performance not only of sales team, but also the areas of estimate, expedition, quality and even financial planning," says Barbosa.
Among the product features, Osmar Barbosa emphasizes the ease provided by the Metrics CRM for estimate requests notes, one of the most critical tasks of printing, given the large number of variables, such as paper types, colors, finishes, publishing formats, delivery deadline etc. "By the simply filling in fields previously planned, our solution allows the quickly mounting of these requests, the simulation of the offers that may be presented to the client, and whole follow up of the business cycle," notes the director.

Another characteristic of the solution is to mount historical basis with the main complaints and customer buying habits, so as to support loyalty strategies and supply pro-active actions, and enables the continuous assessment of sales and service teams. "For marketing staffs, the CRM tool is essential to instrumentalize direct sales campaigns based on customer profiles and activities such as cross-selling," he explains.

Metrics CRM provides tools for documenting all types of contacts, whether through e-mail, phone, fax, chat or even through direct visits. "The idea is that the company representatives to access the system screen - via web-start every time the contacts, so that every detail of this relationship pass to become the data to be used by the platform," concludes Metrics’ director.
The launch of Metrics CRM is part of Metrics strategy to make more natural and accessible use technology management in printing companies of all sizes. To this end, the company developed the concept "Metrics Printware ", which comprehends all management components of Metrics family that enables uniformize production processes and management in printing companies.
During ExpoPrint, Metrics takes a stand for their demonstration of all components of the Metrics Printware family simulating an actual operation so that visitors can view the show in a practical way the features of the model.
In addition to working in harmony with all Metrics products, Metrics CRM supports integration with management software from other manufacturers.
